Enter our competition here to win a group trip to London Zoo!
Inspired by one of the stories within the new anthology sequel The Best Bear in All the World, enter our short story competition here!
Fantastic prizes are available including £500 worth of library books for the winning child’s school; a signed anthology sequel for the winner; and a chance to share the excitement with their friends during a class visit to London Zoo to see the penguins.
Thank you for visiting the Pooh Reading Corner resources area and for choosing to celebrate this wonderful anniversary with Christopher Robin, Winnie-the-Pooh and friends.
These resources contain everything you need to create your own Pooh Reading Corner including graphics to decorate the walls and bookcases; posters to stick up in the corridor or classrooms; bunting for Pooh’s Reading Corner, your curriculum-linked material; and a letter to send out to parents.
Do let your staff know about the curriculum-linked resources. From searching for honey in a papier-mâché beehive, to sensory science and growing honeycomb, haycorns and watercress, pupils can enjoy learning with Winnie-the-Pooh and friends. Engaging activities are provided for Art & Design, Outdoor Learning, and Science at different ability levels for 4-11 year olds.
We hope you will help us to encourage everyone to join in the birthday celebrations.
There’s also a letter for you to share with parents and carers simply by photocopying it onto your school letterhead.
Have fun, take photos and do use the hashtag #poohreadingresources when promoting your school’s anniversary activities on social media with us @EgmontUK
